The Mt.Cheam Pony Club has been active in the Chilliwack area since 1976. We offer instruction in dressage, show jumping, crosscountry and horsemanship, while promting loyalty, character and sportsmanship in the equestrian field. We hold weekly riding lessons in the fall and spring as well as monthly stable management lessons and monthly meetings.

 2004 saw the club attend the Regional Quiz competition in February where the members did very well, capturing first in individual D1, D2 and C as well as D2 and C teams.  In April, we hosted our annual Two Day Horse Trials which was a huge success with over 100 entries from throughout B.C.  July was busy preparing for and attending  the Regional Rally that was held in Maple Ridge. The members along with 2 grooms from Vancouver Pony Club had an excellent time throughout the four day competition, and the D team came out on top with overall first.  In September,  we had 7 members attend the Regional Show Jumping Championships, and October saw 13 members attend the Regional Dressage Championships.  We currently have 21 members and look forward to a great 2005 season.
