Here are highlight placings at the first Central Ontario Region of Pony Club dressage qualifier for the Regional Dressage Finals, held Sunday, June 7 at the Orono Fairgrounds, hosted by the Oshawa Pony Club. Details follow the highlights.
In the First Level A Division, the champion was Johanna McKeen of the Oshawa Pony Club riding Whim, with Janene Howran of the Kawartha Pony Club the reserve on Winston.
In the First Level B Division, Meaghan Lloyd of the Durham Pony Club was champion on Cab Fare, and Rebecca Simmons, also of Durham, was the reserve riding Poetry in Motion.
Alexandra Sprague of the Kawartha Pony Club was the Training Level champion riding Come as You Are, with Jennifer McKeen of the Oshawa Pony Club second on Millie.
The Pre-Training champion was Rachel Scott of the Victoria Pony Club on Peanut. Jenna Crone of the Rising Star Pony Club was the reserve aboard Moonkisst's Fantasy.
Meg Scott of Victoria was the Starter Division Champion riding Diamonds from Sierra, and Emily Pearson, also of the Victoria Pony Club, was the reserve on Susie "Q".
The Entry Level champion was Solstice Pecile of Kawartha riding Skye, with Samantha Lobbezoo of the Brooklin Pony Club the reserve on Huki's Last Knight.
