Congratulations to Laura JacquardLaura, a member of the West Valley Pony Club, has played a role in the development of the younger members. She has delivered the E and D level stable management lectures and coached the younger riders during the year and at camp. She has also captained the D team and the ABC Rally team for her branch as well as helped prepare the team for the Regional Quiz. From 2006 to 2009 Laura was the Youth Rep. for her branch and went on to become the CPC National Active Member East. In this role Laura sat on the CPC Board of Directors for 2008 and 2009. Laura has been an active rider competing in Regional Rally, Regional Show Jumping and Regional Dressage. On the National level she competed in National Dressage and for two years has been on a scramble team at National Quiz. During 2009 Laura was busy helping out on the organizing committee for National Dressage, helping with tack check for Regional Show Jumping and becoming an Examiner in Training. Laura has two horses and enjoys dressage and eventing.  |
