Avon Pony Club Takes Home Top Awards.

The 2001 Regional Pony Club C Rally was held in conjunction with the first Central Nova Horse Trials at the grounds of the Central Nova Horse and Pony Association in Truro. Eight teams representing clubs from throughout the region took part in this riding only rally. Avon Pony Club took home top honours with members winning the top four placings in the Pre-training division and one rider wining the training division. Lauren Collins, a member of the Avon Pony Club, also won the Donald Grant Trophy for the top C rider. Three Avon riders and one member from Eastern Shore made up the wining C team for the rally.
