Final Results

The 2003 Central Zone Rally was held on Aug 1-3 at Checkmate with 18 riders and 16 grooms participating in training and pre-training divisions

The Central Ontario Regional Rally and the Western Ontario Regional Rally were held at the same place and time so the presence of all the additional riders added greatly to the activity and provided a good chance to meet members from other areas.

In the pre-training division, the overall individual champion was Kathryn Robertson of Uxbridge-Scugog with 28.00 penalties. Katie Murray of Durham was second with 28.30 penalties and Allison Poel of London was third with 41.30.

The Central Ontario team made up of riders Katie Murray, Erin Blakeley, Allison Birdsall, and Kathryn Robertson with grooms Julia McGill, Kayla Neil, and Kayla Byer were the overall pre-training team champions.

In the training division, the overall individual champion was Krystin Anderson of Albion with 41.55 penalties followed by Amelia Jones of Victoria with 44.30 and Kendal Lahari of Toronto & North York with 44.60.

The Central Ontario team made up of riders Kendal Lahari, Jessie Barrieau, Julia Pett, and Amelia Jones with grooms Holly Walridge, Jessie Ball, and Dana Bell were the training team champions.

In Stable Management, there was a 3 way tie for the top groom between Heather Agnew of Mount Nemo, Kristine Routhier of Albion and Megan Smith of London

The top team in Stable Management, was the same Central Ontario team that won the overall championship.
