QUALIFYING FOR NATIONAL DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIPS
All BCLM Pony Club members who will be 13 years old, and a D2 or above on
January 1, 2012 and who are in good standing with their Branch are eligible to
qualify for the National Dressage Championships. Candidate must be competing
at CPC PreTraining, Training, First Level or Second Level.
Criteria: in order to qualify, the candidate must have:
Competed in the 2011 BCLM dressage competition at PreTraining,
Training, First or Second Level.
Supply own horse for pool
Club participation to help organize and volunteer during show
Parent participation to help organize and volunteer during show
Be on the committee to supply 45 horses for this competition
Consideration will be given to:
Those with multiple dressage shows.
Those riding different horses.
Your contributions to Pony Club
How the candidate will give back to Pony Club ie:
.. teach at a clinic,
.. be part of the Dressage Show help organize/volunteer
.. give a talk/report regarding attending the National Dressage
competition at a camp or meeting etc.
The National Dressage Championship will be hosted by BCLM at MREC.
The dates will be Aug 16-18, 2012
The host organizing committee will supply the horses.
Applicants must submit their application to the Regional Dressage Chair by
February 24, 2012. Applications are available through your DC.
The BCLM Region Dressage committee will review the applications, and may
chose a candidate per level if all criteria is fulfilled.
