Springbank Pony Club (SPC) is a branch of the Alberta South Region of the Canadian Pony Club. We offer safe educational experiences for members, fostering a love and respect for horses and the sport of riding. Participation will range from riding (clinics, camps) to equestrian theory and stable management teaching.
Youth can participate in an optional badge program; periodic testing opportunities are also offered, but testing is not mandatory. Each member is encouraged to progress at their own speed. Testing standards are recognized worldwide and aligned with Equine Canada’s Rider Levels.
SPC is a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers. We depend on our fees and fundraising to offer our programs. The success of SPC depends on the participation of volunteers in a variety of capacities such as helping with fundraising and camp or serving on the board. Everyone has some skills to offer, and many hands make light work.
