Vancouver

To develop competent and knowledgeable young horse persons who combine enjoyment, responsibility, sportsmanship and good citizenship with the pursuit of various equestrian activities.

LOYALTY — CHARACTER — SPORTSMANSHIP

The Vancouver Pony Club operates out of the Southlands Riding Club in Vancouver. Our membership stretches throughout the city and includes the North Shore. Membership is age is 6 thru 25 years. The cost per year is $270 per member. A $200 Parent Volunteer Deposit is taken at the time of registration.

The VPC does not offer riding lessons, but instead focuses on education, horse care, social activities and testing, both written and practical.  The program normally operates from October to June, with several events in between.

Sessions start with Stable Management in the Fall at the Southlands Riding Club, followed by testing in the spring. Members must have a current 2022 and 2023 Horse Council of BC Membership. You may register or renew at Horse Council of BC
