Rest In Peace Queen Elizabeth II.

Sep 8, 2022

Rest In Peace Queen Elizabeth II.

Canadian Pony Club extends our sincere condolences to the Royal Family at the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen shared our passion and love of horses and was a successful rider, owner and breeder.

The Royal Family has had a long history of supporting Pony Club, with Her Majesty’s husband, Prince Phillip, founding Pony Club Mounted Games in 1957, passionate to create an option for young people to access equestrian sport and HRH the Princess Royal as Patron of Pony Club UK.

Her favourite horse was said to be Burmese, a Saskatchewan Thoroughbred, bred by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and gifted to her in 1969.

We remember Her Majesty’s love and passion for horses, along with her humour and exemplary service during her 70 year reign.
