  • Volunteer coach Toronto/North York - two winters, once a week
  • Host and organizer for the first InterPacific Exchange to Canada
  • Director of Canadian Pony Club

ACHIEVEMENTS AS A RIDER:

  • Twenty year member of the Canadian Equestrian Team (Show Jumping)
  • Team bronze medal 1967 Pan American Games
  • Team Gold Medal 1970 World Championship
  • With Grand Nouvel, tied the world indoor Puissance record at 7'3". Grand Nouvel still holds the Puissance record at 7' ½" at the Harrisburg (US) International Horse Show
  • In 1966, was on the Team that won the first Nations Cup at the Royal in 30 years and the Team Championship for the first time ever.

ACHIEVEMENTS AS AN ACCREDITED OFFICIAL

  • Has served as Director and EC Jumping Team Chair related to the Los Angeles Olympics
  • FEI Chef d'Equippe for the Jumping team, Los Angeles Olympics
  • Has served as Director, Horse Show Chairman and President of the Royal Winter Fair, Toronto
  • Has served as Director of the Canadian Horse Council, the Canadian Horse Shows Association and the Horseman's Benevolent and Protective Association
  • Honourary Director of the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association
  • Member of the Advisory Council of the Equine Research Centre, University of Guelph
  • Member of the Equine Advisory Councils of both Humber and Seneca Colleges (Ontario)

ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE MAINSTREAM

  • Licensed realtor for 45 years.
  • In 1972 formed Moffat Dunlap Real Estate Limited specializing in country properties in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Firm is a member of Provincial and National Real Estate Boards and Associations
  • Has been involved in a number of high profile transactions such as land purchase for Canada's Wonderland, sale of Eaton Hall to Seneca College, assembling land for Magna International's headquarters in Aurora and the transfer of Jokers Hill (Billie and Church Mann's historic estate) to the University of Toronto.
  • Moffat Dunlap has been active in many organizations such as fundraising for Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto and the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation.
  • He was a founder of Country Day School, an independent day school in King Township.
  • He has also been an active volunteer in local politics at the municipal level

FAVOURITE MEMORIES YOU HAVE OF OF PONY CLUB

  • Being a member of the Canadian team for the 1958 Interpacific Exchange in Australia
  • Dinny Hall Holland (now Greenway) took six of us for a week in the Mexican Cavalry School in 1957
  • Rode his donkey to Markham Fairgrounds from Eglinton Hunt Club to attend a gymkhana
  • Professor and Mrs Bladen were the best!!
