The competition was held on October 8, 9, and 10, 1999, at the N.S.A.C. Conference Centre at the AgriTech Park, in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. AgriTech Park is a full-service conference facility which is operated by the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. Bible Hill is a village that rests just outside Truro, known as "the hub of Nova Scotia".
