In today's busy society, people generally want to know what is required of them time wise for their children's activities. Again, each branch is unique but in general, you may expect to see your child ride at least once a week (approx. an hour lesson), and have seasonal stable management lessons every week or couple of weeks.
As well, there is the necessary fundraising which may require a few hours of your time periodically. We encourage you to become involved in your child's equestrian life and share in the fun and learning they will experience.
Branches will hold periodic meetings where you can attend and hear what is happening in general, discover opportunities for participation and voice your ideas and concerns. Here is where you become an advocate for your child and help shape the activities of the Branch you have joined.
Parents are strongly encouraged to attend all Pony Club activities involving your child, including stable management and riding lessons.
